To engage in Dice Miner, you: Toss the dice. In each of three rounds, twenty custom dice are rolled onto a unique mountain component. The mountain's design guides the dice into the correct slots, and aids players in determining legal draft picks. There are two mountain designs: a punchboard mountain in the standard edition, and a 3D printed plastic mountain in the deluxe edition. Both game versions feature custom-color engraved dice.
- Cast the dice: Initiate each round by rolling the custom dice onto the unique mountain component
- Select your hoard: Choose your dice based on the mountain's design and legal draft picks
- Accumulate your treasure: Gather your selected dice to build your hoard
